Megan Campbell

Megan was named the Executive Director of the Focus Forward Project in 2016. Prior to joining Focus Forward, Megan was an attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP and Grais & Ellsworth, LLP. She litigated numerous commercial matters at both the trial and appellate levels. Her law practice ran the gamut, from sophisticated contract disputes to litigating violations of state and federal securities laws to antitrust and constitutional law issues. In addition to her more than ten years practicing law in both firm and public interest settings, Megan has engaged in nonprofit and government consulting. Megan has volunteered with the Correctional Association of New York and the Family Center, and was a long-time participant in the Amachi mentoring program for children with incarcerated parents. Megan also spent time in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, working at an elementary boarding school on the Colville Indian Reservation.

Megan holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross, a JD from Cornell Law School, and a master of public administration degree from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.
